Chamfers

There were functions as well as that Chamfers revise to make modeling easier for you. The functions are now standardized and easy to understand. Of course, numerous functions have been added.

Section marking | View heading

A large number of innovations have been made in the representation of the section markings. Thus, the first step of the presentation has been extended for the construction industry. Be curious about the next steps. The first step of the view heading has also been integrated into HiCAD 2022. Here, too, development is not yet complete and there are still a few surprises in store.

2. Tables have been expanded for the parts list. In the first, the automatic output was adapted when the profile was laid so that the cross-section of the profile does not extend across the entire width as usual, but only a small area at the defined points. This increases the clarity of the parts list considerably and thus the time for post-processing the parts list disappears to a minimum. Don't forget the more time you invest in the template, the less time you need for post-processing.

The same option has also been added to the folded metal sheets. So you have the possibility to reduce the post-processing of the parts list / coater list to a minimum. This saves you time and, more importantly, MONEY!

HiCAD point cloud

In the point cloud module, what I consider to be an extremely useful and long superfluous command has been added to simplify the selection of the processing plane. With this you can now define a surface with reference to a surface / axis a plane with several points. When specifying the points, you can see the deviation of the points at any time and can therefore decide for yourself whether the level corresponds to your requirements and is in the right place.

As already mentioned at the beginning, these are only a few points summarized. These points also represent the first step in HiCAD 2022. You can find the complete list in the help under the point NEWS and explains the new functions to them.

For me personally it is also important to explain one point.

If we as ISD develop a function, then certain basic features of the function must already be included in the basic version. Therefore you should not be surprised if certain functions do not appear completely finished for you in the first step. When we design a new function, many customers are involved, but not all customers can be included. It is therefore extremely helpful for us if you give us your feedback on the functions that we are developing in order to make the functions even more practical.
