Assembly drawings for folded plates
Due to the extension in the area of the workshop drawing, it is now also possible to provide folded plate assemblies with automatic dimensions.
You should take your time and set it up like this, then HiCAD will save you a lot of time when preparing your drawings. So they have a lot more time for other things.
close sketch | Visualize points
The context menu when you draw a polyline has been expanded so that you can now quickly and easily close the polyline you have started. The marked command is now available for this purpose
Views - show/hide parts
In the Visibility section, you now have a new way to quickly isolate the activated parts in the view. The new command simply isolates the activated part or parts and hides all other parts in the active or in the active views.
Performance
Deleting sheet areas of a construction has been significantly accelerated with SP2. For example, in the test with HiCAD 2022 SP2, a deletion time of approx. 30 - 40 seconds was measured - compared to 2 - 2.5 minutes in HiCAD 2021 SP1.
Edge the flap along the sketch on the surface
The Edge tabs along sketch on surface function has been newly developed and replaces the previous function. You can use this function to chamfer several flanges around a surface in one step.
List View and "Active Parts List"
The new view function has been further revised so that the list views and headings can be created even more easily and quickly. Thus, some functions have been combined into one.
