HiCAD 2019 - ALUCOBOND® - mounted cassette
As with the SZ20 cassettes, three tabs with setting options are available in the dialog window:

HiCAD 2019 | SP2: Rounded railings and parts of handrails
Handrails can now also be shared, e.g. in order to install inserts or flat steel joints in long railings. In addition, from the SP2, curved railings can also be created in one plane. This applies to both railings along profiles and railings along an edge. However, this is only possible for curved profiles or curved lines in a sketch.
HiCAD 2019 | SP2: Wall brackets and ALUCOBOND® visibly riveted
With the new wall bracket function, wall brackets for a substructure can be generated automatically. These can be created not only on the wall surface, but also on the roof surface when installing an attic. With the visibly riveted ALUCOBOND cassettes, the processing on the cassettes is created through the connection to the substructure. These processing operations can be changed and can also be set from SP2 if no substructure is used for the installation of the elements.

From SP2, HiCAD also supports the laying of Eternit panels when laying the elements and with the substructure. Since EQUITONE Tergo elements have to be attached according to static specifications, the new function Sub-construction sketch generation was introduced, which automatically creates a sketch as the basis for a sub-construction for a Tergo-Element installation.
HiCAD 2019 | SP2: User-specific dialog for moving elements
HiCAD offers the possibility to create customer-specific installation elements for facades (element installation and substructures). The dialog that is displayed when these customer-specific installation elements are selected can also be designed individually. The areas sketch, type and joint width to the sketch line are excluded from the individual design.
HiCAD 2019 | SP2: Support request
The New Support Request function is new in the Help Topics and Information menu. You can use this function to send a request to our support directly from HiCAD. After calling up the function, simply log in to my-ISD with your access data. You will then automatically find yourself in the ISD support portal. Just fill out the form, attach files if necessary, and then click Create Request. The new ISD support portal will be available to customers in Germany from October 1, 2019. For customers in other countries, the introduction is planned for the beginning of January 2020.

As of SP2, there are among others new icons for the various HiCAD file formats are available. These icons are taken into account in Windows Explorer and thus also in the HELiOS result lists.

With the SP2, the ICN window has been redesigned: discover extensions such as the display of user columns, identification of out-of-date item numbers, tool tips with 3D part structure, double-click to activate part attributes and much more.
HiCAD 2019 | SP2: Innovations in sheet metal
If a sheet is created with the New sheet along sketch function that only consists of a circular arc, a short, tangentially connecting, straight line must always be added to one end of the circular arc. To simplify matters, HiCAD will now automatically add this piece as a tab (double tolerance, i.e. 0.002 mm) at the beginning of the circular arc.
