In the ribbon you can already see the ribbon including the extensions of HiCAD 2021.

You will of course receive the output as usual in HiCAD. Of course, I especially want them Packaging lists which you in Excel can output very easily and clearly.

Profile laying with wall connection

In this video I want to combine the Profile laying with the element installation. In the video I show how to set up an automatic facade connection with the help of the command "Substructure”Of the module Element laying erzeugt.

Individual profiles can also be entered directly in the dialog with the edge profiles, but very often you have not just one profile but many profiles and rivets.

Start value of the shipping positioning

Pay attention to this video as it is There is no standard delivery from the ISD. This setting is only available from version HiCAD 2600.1 and requires a special entry in the registry to enable this function.

NO STANDARD!!!

If you have activated this function, the scene attribute mask must be extended by the 2 marked attributes, which define the start value and the increment of the dispatch position number.

Adjust the sorting of the packaging in Excel

By default, the sorting of the package list in Excel corresponds to the standard sorting in Excel. Because this is usually very unpleasant, I would like to show you here how you can adjust this sorting.

You have to find the file that is responsible for the output of the Excel list in the HiCAD / SYS folder. This is called “HiCAD_Stahlbau.2700.0.cs” (depending on which version you are using). You can open this file with a text editor.

You need to find this line now. If you have Notepad, you will also see the line you are looking for, as well as here in the picture

Then replace the following line with this line in the code and save the file again.

.OrderBy(x => Convert.ToInt32(Convert.ToString(((object[])x.Key)[0]).Replace(“Paket “,””)))

After that, the area should look like the one in this picture

If you have done all these points and saved the file, the Excel output in the package list will look like this for you.

New package list

In HiCAD 2022, a new package list was stored in the Excel template. However, this is not activated by default. If you take the following steps, you can activate it. To do this, go to the Excel template file in version 2022 and switch to the Settings tab. Set the value of packaging list 2 to “True”.

Then the file must be saved. When you submit the Excel list again, you will receive the new and much clearer material list.
