Define powder lines for laser machines

(Yellow lines in DXF)


For the export of a 2D DXF / DWG the file hcadacad.dat responsible in the SYS folder in the installation directory of HiCAD. In this file it is set which color / layer or line type should be transferred from HiCAD to which color or layer to AutoCAD.

To do this, a layer must first be defined.

In the next step you have to read out the set colors and layers in HiCAD, this is done in the area Tap information lines can. In the picture below you can see for example: that with the layer 99 or HiCAD color 25 is transferred to the AutoCAD layer “powder lines”.

In the last step you determine which HiCAD color should have which AutoCAD color. In this example it would be HiCAD color 25, color 50 is selected in AutoCAD.

The settings which color in HiCAD for the unwinding can be made directly in the advanced settings of the processing. This must be saved as a favorite afterwards, otherwise it is only set in the existing construction. At the bottom of the picture it says
